She looks beyond pulled together. I am totally getting in on this one- I found three cute scarves in my travels this past week- one tan with white polka dots, one plain gray, and one emerald and white stripe infinity scarf that is so very soft- and I cannot wait to try them out. I have one general method for tying my winter scarves, but I knew there were more. I went in search and found....
....the scarf tying master list. If you go to their site, it gives you step by step directions on each one.
Yes, a few of those are weird, like the waist thing in the second row and the, um, halter (?) thing in the last row. But if you can get past that, there are some neat ways to tie them no matter what style of scarf you have.

Love the monochromatic look.
Adorable!
no source...anyone??
Men can wear them, too! (Just don't tie it funny.)
Ok, so that was a little off track.

My point is, this is a great, stylish accessory that I can totally get behind, and I'm looking forward to swapping out the chunky scarves for the lighter ones.
Do you do the scarf thing? How do you tie it?
Any other quick and easy pull-yourself-together tips? This one was great.

haha.. I love how it goes off track with a hot guy in a scarf. My grandmother is a scarf addict and she actually wraps her scarves over her head. She taught me this tradition when I was younger so I like to wear scarves in my hair. It's a nice way to add to an outfit especially during the summer.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother seriously has a huge basket full of scarves and it took me a year of begging for her to finally give me scarves. She collects them from everywhere so I now have a nice collection. I wear them around my neck and in my hair mostly. I don't think I can do the halter thing. I think my boobs are way to big for that jazz.
You know how some girls have hundreds of shoes... Well that's me, only with scarves.
ReplyDeleteI most certainly have that image pinned too...but rarely do I reference it. But man oh man, do I love my scarves!
