If you and I were sitting down having coffee...
...I'd actually probably be having tea, just because that's the way I usually start my day. I just got a few new ones at the store that I'm excited to try.
...I'd be lamenting about how cold it is here right now. It was 7 degrees yesterday morning at 8am. This is the point in the year when my Texas-born husband starts talking about moving south. At times, I kind of agree with him, especially when I'm putting coats and hats and mittens on a three- and one-year-old every day. However, the actuality of it would probably give me an anxiety attack.
...I'd tell you how excited I am about the new Valentine's items I have in my shop. I had so much fun making those little hoops and pincushions. If you haven't seen them, I'd love to have you check them out. I have more on the way but I'm having trouble finding a good stretch of work time.
...I'd tell you again how much I love the library. There is just so much great stuff there, it makes me kind of giddy. Gus and I went two days ago and picked up a few educational videos for him, a weekly feature for me and the hubs, three exercise videos, a bunch of vehicle-themed picture books, and two new reads for me. If I find time to read all of one by the time they have to go back, that would be amazing.
...I'd tell you that we just figured out that we can use our old iPhone with the wireless network at home, so while it can't make phone calls, it can connect to things like Pandora and Instagram, meaning you will be seeing a lot more photos from me in your feed.
...I'd let you know that I am in a cooking rut. I cook dinner at home just about every night- it is rare that we go out to eat- and I feel like I am making the same things over and over again. I want to try and make dishes that are a little healthier. I like the idea of Clean Eating, though I need to look into it more. I'd ask you for suggestions of things to make.
...I'd reveal that I plan to tweak this blog design a little bit in the near future, even though I'm not sure exactly where I'd like to go with it. It's always a work in progress.
...I'd remind you that I'm running this great giveaway from Petunia Blooms that I'd love for you to enter. It would be so nice for you to win a gift for yourself or a friend. I'd also ask you to consider signing up for my shop rejects trade, though I'd tell you that it can be disappointing to have a fun idea and have it fall flat. I'd tell you that I totally appreciate the fact that you signed up, though, and I can't wait to send you stuff!
...I'd tell you how nice it was to visit with you, that I enjoyed our chat, and I'd hope to see you again next Friday. Have a great weekend!
Linking up for coffee at Rags to Stitches today.

I'd be drinking tea with you instead of coffee today, because that's my beverage of choice when I have a cold. I'd tell you allllll about my new camera that finally came in the mail, and why I went with another point-and-shoot instead of a DSLR. And then I'd leave before too long so you didn't get my germs. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!
I'd be drinking tea too. Coffee makes me feel like a crack-head. True story. I like the new title of "shop rejects trade" far more interesting than the former. If I was actually sitting with you then I would say.. seriously..I went to UCONN and cold weather doesn't harm me. Plus.. I would say that moving to TX may be a bad idea because living CT means that you are in between two awesome cities and you aren't that far from the ocean. I hope you have an awesome Friday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining the hop!
ReplyDeleteWish I could have coffee with you! And yes I would be drinking coffee. Ps I live that you can do so much Instagram. I love seeing what you are up to!
ReplyDeleteThe book underneath the coffee mug looks like a good read! Growing at the Speed of Life. Looks like a good one to read while sipping on a latte!
ReplyDeleteIt's written by a chef who decided to grow his own herbs and stuff, so there's tons of tips on how to grow plants, and then a few recipes at the end of each section!
DeleteSorry, I'm a coffee gal! And I would tell you how adorable your Etsy shop looks. I love the pin cushions - added you to my favorites. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought this 30 degree weather was chilling. I'm so sorry. I love your shop. You're very creative.
