I just put 8 ounces of yogurt into a pitcher, added a half a quart of strawberries that I rough cut, and then added almond milk to thin it out. A few quick wooshes of the hand blender and it was done, and it's sweet and tasty. You could use a regular blender, and probably any type of yogurt, fruit, and milk you wanted. We happen to be loving almond milk right now.

One more drinkable solution to getting in all those food groups.






Yum! My hubby drinks a smoothie every morning for breakfast. We have to buy frozen fruit in bulk, but if there's ever a b1, g1 sale I go for it and he uses fresh!
ReplyDeleteI need to start making smoothies. I am usually too lazy to take out the blender and all the ingredients (which I rarely have anyway) and will just walk across the street to Starbucks and get a Frapuccino instead.
